Renee Belisle is a science curriculum specialist who works with science teachers to develop best-practice lessons and pedagogy. She spent 6 years teaching middle school science in a charter classroom in Denver before transitioning to curriculum development work. Renee grew up in a military family, and experienced a phenomenal public education in various places throughout the United States. She became engaged in CTIR and the WAC when she heard of students applying their knowledge to critically examine and solve real-world problems, an educational approach about which she feels passionate. She received a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University and a M.A.T. in Biology from Miami University.
